Thomas Processing’s most recent technological development is the Accela-Spray PRO, a standalone solution delivery system for tablet coating that features:

Functionality

A Watson Marlow peristaltic pump with VFD controller
Solution and pneumatic lines and fittings
A solution recirculation system
A single phase 50-60 Hz power source
Independent pneumatic controls for atomizing, pattern, and trigger air
A solution totalizer system
Volumetric or mass flowmeter for solution flow rate control

Usability

Spray Pro standalone spray system includes the solution pump, flow meter, and control for atomizing and pattern compressed air. The Spray Pro is controlled through an intuitive graphical user interface.

The Accela-Spray PRO is designed with an innovative pneumatic delivery system that ensures high-quality film coating and uniformity, thanks to the patented tablet film coating technology equipped in the Thomas Spray System. Our fully integrated system is designed to provide an accurate solution rate, a <5% gun-to-gun spray rate differential, and a rapid disassembly and cleaning process. All Thomas tablet coating systems feature our spray system and Spray Bar, including our Accela-Spray PRO. The solution delivery system is engineered to deliver a consistently better performance compared to conventional manifolds and result in easily validated, repeatable tablet spray coating processes.
