A common problem with continuous tablet coating is that there is nowhere to cool down tablets once they’re coated. When a batch coater completes its process, you turn the spray feature off and run air into the machine to cool down the tablets, but a continuous coater doesn’t have that feature.
A continuous coater functions by allowing tablets to flow through the machine, discharging them once coating is complete.
